The executive team of ABE has extensive global experience in strategy consulting and market analysis in a range of industries. ABE’s multinational network of associates combine different language skills and a range of business and industry experience, such as TMT (technology, media and telecom) and life sciences.
The founders of ABE, Atul Banerjee and Andreas Eigenmann, have previously worked with global consulting firms such as Accenture and ZS Associates as well as with specialized market analysis firms. We have lived and worked in many countries around the world, and have an appreciation of different cultures and markets, which has given us the ability to successfully build an international client base and network of associates.
Having worked together on many international projects, and sharing the same philosophy of providing professional services and value to our clients, we set up ABE Associates in 2006 to offer higher-value services.
Atul Banerjee has over 25 years’ international experience in product and marketing strategy, market analysis and strategy consulting. He is an industrial linguist, and has expertise in managing and presenting the results of global projects involving multi-language research and analysis, market landscaping and identifying investment and partnership opportunities.
Following a career with Andersen Consulting and ZS Associates, providing strategy consulting for a number of industries, including IT, Pharmaceutical and Telecom, Atul advised several Mobile Internet start-ups as Director of Product Strategy. He ran an online business that sold healthcare products globally, which was sold in 2004. Since then, Atul has provided clients with strategic advice on their product and service strategy, market positioning and competitive landscape.
Andreas Eigenmann has 20 years of experience in global business consulting, specializing in Technology, Media and Telecom. He has multiple language skills and experience of working around the world. Prior to setting up ABE Associates with Atul Banerjee, Andreas worked as a specialist in research and market analysis.

Andreas was responsible for several big accounts. He later left the marketing team and started working on software implementation projects, managing Indian software teams on onsite projects in Europe.
Following his time at Sonata Software, Andreas joined Accenture where he worked as a business consultant in Accenture’s telecom and high tech department.
